Welcome to KTCollege, a vibrant new performing arts institution located in the heart of Castle Donington, Leicestershire.
Since its inception in September 2021, KTCollege has been dedicated to nurturing the next generation of performers.
As KTCollege has grown, so have its facilities and ambitions. In March 2024, the college proudly moved into a purpose-built studio, tailored to meet the diverse needs of performing arts education. The new facility boasts two spacious dance studios, a dedicated acting studio, a private singing room, a green room, changing rooms and a comprehensive costume store.
Our alumni are currently training at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country, including the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Urdang, ArtsEd, Laine Theatre Arts, East 15 Acting School, LIPA, Royal Welsh Conservatoire, Mountview, GSA, and more.
The college continues to go from strength to strength, shaping the next set of industry professionals for diverse careers in the arts. Whether our graduates are destined for TV and film, cruise performances, musical theatre, or starring in West End shows, KTCollege provides the comprehensive training and support needed to thrive in the ever-evolving world of performing arts.

BTEC Performing Arts
The BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice is a two-year, accredited course equivalent to three A Levels, ideal for students aiming to enter the performing arts industry. Developed with input from academics and industry professionals, the curriculum aligns with higher education requirements and current industry standards, supporting pathways to both further study and direct employment.
Alongside the core BTEC qualification, KTCo offers a drama-school-style timetable, featuring classes like commercial dance, acting through song, performance jazz, and conditioning. Each year concludes with a graded showcase performance, contributing to the overall BTEC grade.

Accelerate Training Programme
The Accelerate Training Programme is our one-year performing arts foundation course designed to bridge the gap between local training and the professional arts industry. Based in the Midlands 3-days a week, it offers flexible, affordable training in singing, acting, and dancing, allowing students to live at home while they prepare for top drama schools.
With a 97% success rate over the past three years and 70% of auditions leading to recalls, our students typically receive three offers and go on to train at prestigious institutions like ArtsEd, Laine Theatre Arts, GSA, Urdang, RADA and more.
'Accelerate' supports students with every step of their preparation in both the application and audition process. Every day is a performance when training intensively on this programme giving our students' dreams no other option than to prevail.
